The counterbalance truck features lifting mechanism & two forks mounted at the front in the direction of travel forward. The name comes from the counterweight in the rear of the vehicle which compensate the heavy load being lifted at the front.
Our range of new forklifts includes forklifts with electric drive, but there are also diesel or gas internal combustion forklifts on the market. Since electric forklifts do not emit exhaust gases, they are suitable for both outdoor and indoor use. In addition, they work quietly and do not cause noise in the working space and urban environment.
There are four- or three-wheel versions are available. The latter provide a smaller turning radius, which is especially important in tight spaces such as warehouses with narrow aisles, while 4-wheel electric counterbalance trucks are ideal for working on uneven terrain and handling heavier loads.
One of the key components of counterbalance truck is the mast, which enables vertical lifting and moving of the load. There are several different types, and the choice depends mainly on the required lift height and the height of ceilings and passages.
