Electric stacker trucks are forklifts equipped with a pair of forks and a mast that enables the lifting and stacking of pallets at various heights. Stacker trucks are ideal for serving racks, transshipping, transporting palletized goods, and occasional order picking. They can also be used as mobile work platforms for tasks at ergonomic working heights.

We distinguish between electric pallet trucks with pedestrian operation suitable for short transport routes, ride-on models for medium to long distances where the operator needs to frequently get on and off, and sit-on models for long transport routes.

In addition to the mode of operation, electric stacker trucks differ in the type of mast. Considering the various purposes of use and the specific requirements of working environments, Jungheinrich offers different types of masts:

Single-stage telescopic mast:

  • Mono: Single, narrow, centrally mounted frame. The overall height of the frame remains constant during lifting.
  • Simplex: Single, fixed frame. The overall height of the frame remains constant during lifting.

Two-stage telescopic mast (Duplex):

  • ZT: Two segments – outer and inner (telescoping).
  • ZZ: Two segments – outer and inner (telescoping). An additional lift cylinder enables free lift.

Three-stage telescopic mast (Triplex):

  • DT: Three segments – outer and two inner (teleskoping).
  • DZ: Three segments – outer and two inner (telescoping). An additional lift cylinder enables free lift.

You can read more about the types of masts and how to choose the right one in the blog.

The weight limit with which an electric forklift can be loaded is called the rated load capacity, which varies depending on the lift height and the center of gravity of the load (residual capacity/real capacity). To prevent the truck from becoming unbalanced and possibly tipping over, causing injury or damage, the load capacity chart must be observed at all times.

To operate the drive and lift motor of the stacker truck, a lead-acid, lead-gel, or lithium-ion battery is required, which can be recharged via an external or built-in charger.

We offer a selection of Jungheinrich warehouse stackers with masts of different heights and capacities, ergonomically designed to maximize operator productivity without physical strain.
